Welcome to my website!
I'm Emelia Fredlick. I grew up in Homewood, Ill., a south suburb of Chicago, and in December, I graduated from Emory University, where I double-majored in dance and journalism.
I'm currently working as a writer for Imagination Publishing, a content marketing agency here in Chicago. Imagination creates content for clients in four main sectors: financial services, B2B companies, nonprofits/associations, and senior living, and (much to my happiness) I've been getting a chance to write for pretty much all the sectors!
Back at Emory, I served as the Arts & Entertainment Editor of The Emory Wheel, the school's independent student newspaper, which means I was responsible for managing the content, editing articles, and designing layout for the section. I've also interned at organizations like Paste magazine (as the Books Intern), Atlanta magazine (as an Editorial Intern), Time Out Chicago (as a Web Intern) and Hanley Wood (as an Editorial Intern. You can view my work from these publications under the Portfolio section of this website.
Take a look around, and thanks for visiting my site!
