Check out my newest articles for the Wheel: one about the Emory Dance and Theater Departments' fabulous Free/Fall, and one about a really cool event put on by the Emory Muslim Student Association. The year at the Wheel is drawing to a close, but it's been an excellent one. It's hard to believe that this was only my first full year as an editor at the Wheel--it feels like it's been part of my life forever. Tonight I'm going to see the excellent AdHoc group at Emory perform "Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson" and I'll be writing an article on that--stay tuned for that!
I'm also happy to inform y'all that I will be staying in Atlanta for the summer after all, interning for Paste magazine. I'll be their books intern (which I'm hoping will be as awesome as it sounds--reading books and writing about them!), and I'm super-excited to work at a new place and meet all the other interns, who are coming from across the country for this, and finally experience Georgia in the summer. (JK, I hear that's not that great.) I'll probably only have one more semester at Emory after this summer if I end up graduating a semester early (like I'm hoping to do), which is crazy to think about, but I'm sooo excited to start moving forward on some of this real-life stuff. Excited and maybe a teensy bit terrified. :)
Until next time!
Peace,
Emelia
